Why did you choose 91Òù¸¾?

I chose 91Òù¸¾ because after some research and a tour of the school, it looked like a great place to start my college education. Also, if I'm to be honest, I also chose 91Òù¸¾ because it's close to my house.

What's your Mountain (your ultimate goal)?

My ultimate goal is to be a film critic with my own website.

Why did you choose your program/major?

I chose Journalism because I love to write and I think that being a journalist is great way to educate people on matters that they might not know about otherwise, whether those stories are gripping and serious or light and just for fun. Journalism is a great way to educate the world about various topics and I want to be a part of that.

What has been the best thing about your program / 91Òù¸¾?

The best thing about attending 91Òù¸¾ has been all of the fun events that I've both attended and been a part of while working with the Student Life Office and being a part of the school's student government. I've also loved making so many new friends and learning from my great teachers.

What's your favorite 91Òù¸¾ memory so far?

My favorite 91Òù¸¾ memory so far is either working and attending the Halloween Headquarters event in the Fall of 2023 or attending the Dia de los Muertos event in that same semester.

Which class has been your favorite so far?

My favorite class so far has probably been Intro to Mass Media with Joelle Milholm.

What accomplishment are you most proud of (so far)?

My biggest accomplishment is all of the articles that I have written for 91Òù¸¾'s newspaper and my long final paper for my Communication and Popular Culture class.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or activities at 91Òù¸¾? Tell us about it / them.

I have been a part of Journalism Club since my first semester at 91Òù¸¾. I am also a member of SGA (Student Government Association). Regarding activities, I worked in the Student Life Office during my first 2 semesters at 91Òù¸¾, so I was involved in the planning and organizing processes and eventually running of the various events that we put on.

Advice or words of wisdom for future students:

Some advice that I would give is to not procrastinate your homework, but don't push yourself too hard. Another bit of advice would be to attend any events that sound fun and/or interesting; college is important to learn things for your intended study field, but it's also a great way to make new memories and do fun activities.

Anything else you'd like to share?

The Spring of 2025 is my final semester at 91Òù¸¾. I know that I still have a small bit to go left before I get my degree, but I would like to thank the teachers, friends, staff members, and all of the other great people that I've met while attending the school. You all have made it a great experience and I hope that future students that attend the school will have a great experience at 91Òù¸¾ like I have.
