Members of 91Òù¸¾'s Mortuary Science department traveled to Boston recently for the American Board of Funeral Service Education annual conference.

Faith Haug presented on "Teaching in Diverse Classrooms", and about the use of "AI in Funeral Service Education". They attended other presentations about suicide in the profession (suicide OF funeral service professionals) and CDC Vital statistics usages.

Ren Scherling was chosen to represent 91Òù¸¾ in June in Los Angeles to review the Funeral Law and FTC curriculum that all mortuary schools use.

The best part of the trip was when 91Òù¸¾ faculty got to brag about their students, their supportive administration, and their program, and spend the week with other educators, talking and laughing until far too late each night.

Check out some photos from the conference.
