Work Study
91Òù¸¾'s work study program offers students employment and a flexible way to earn money for college expenses. We have work study jobs in a number of different departments where you can work on campus or remotely. Working part-time at 91Òù¸¾ will complement your degree program, provide on-the-job training, and add valuable skills to your resume. There are requirements for the work study program. If you find that you do not qualify, we have student hourly employment too. Find those part-time jobs for students on Handshake.
A work study award is only offered for one academic year, recipients are selected on a first-come, first-served basis; and awards are based on available financial aid funding.
The hourly wage for work study starts at $16.38 per hour. Students who have worked in a department for 2 consecutive semesters will earn $16.90 per hour.
*Student employees are not eligible for medical insurance benefits through 91Òù¸¾ / CCCS. Student employees are enrolled and contribute to a TIAA-CREF account when enrolled in less than six credits.
Sick leave is granted in accordance with , accrued at one hour of paid sick leave for every 30 hours worked, up to a maximum of 48 hours per year.
Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for a work study award, you must meet and maintain the following minimum eligibility requirements:
- Complete an online
- Be eligible for Title IV Federal Student Aid
- Have a demonstrated need, which is determined by your FAFSA results
- Estimated Family Contributions (EFCs) calculated by the FAFSA to be higher than 13,000 will be handled on a case-by-case basis; review the Student Aid Report (SAR) emailed to you from and contact the Financial Aid Office for additional information.
- Have a demonstrated need, which is determined by your FAFSA results
- Be enrolled as a degree-seeking student
- Be enrolled in at least half-time (6 credit hours), and meet Satisfactory Academic Progress for all credit hours
