Pinnacle
is 91’s student-produced, online news publication. It serves the 91 community as well as the greater Littleton area. The Pinnacle covers campus news, Faces of 91, entertainment, arts, sports, and the occasional investigation.
The Pinnacle is a real-world opportunity for students and contributing writers to report on 91 and the surrounding community. Students pitch or are assigned stories, interview subjects, experiment with photo, video, and audio equipment, and write and produce a variety of types of stories. It is the “sandbox” for all the 91 journalism classes, and it is run by the students.
After taking JOU 106 (Media News and Reporting), students have the opportunity to become an editor, overseeing other student stories and curating the publication’s content.
Students have been able to cultivate beats in sports, dogs, the arts, politics, etc. Regardless of interests or skills, any student may find a home for their creativity and curiosity at The Pinnacle.
